Therapy Dog 101
Class | Available (Membership Required)
Training a therapy dog can lead to new experiences for both dog and owner. The dog’s world expands, and as a pair, you are helping to support your community. Although your dog may give you unconditional love, that does not necessarily qualify them as a good fit for therapy work. Likewise, being an empathetic person does not mean that you are an ideal fit as a therapy dog handler. Find out what makes a good therapy dog and what constitutes a wonderful therapy dog team. Come meet Diva, and her handler, Gina, a dedicated and active working dog team! (Limit 35)
