What to do after taking Intro to Acting? Want to take the next step? Acting Techniques/Scene Study is that next step. This 7-week course will continue using practical application of Classical, Stanislavski, Meisner, and Schreiber techniques, primarily. We will utilize classroom exercises and homework in improvisation, monologues, and other acting exercises. The exercises are strongly encouraged, however, if a student prefers to audit the class (sit in and learn through observation only) that is completely acceptable. There might be additional work in style (including Commedia and possibly mask work). More advanced students will begin scene study. This class is for all levels - from beginner to professional…work assignments will be tailored to your level and desire.
