Take a trip with Freida to the forgotten land of the ancient art of Egyptian belly dance. Freida studied under Raqia Hassan of Egypt, as well as Abraham Farrar and Eva Cernik of New York. Learn muscle control, including shimmies, hip circles, and figure eights, while also exploring how to interpret 16:16 music through Egyptian belly dance movement. Students will leave the class with beautiful dancer’s posture and graceful, foundational Egyptian belly dance technique.
