This class will be a standard Texas Hold-em poker tournament, equivalent to many of the daily tournaments offered around the U.S. and much of the world. The first hour of the class will offer a brief survey of poker tournaments and how they differ from regular games. The remainder of the class will consist of tournament play with 1-hour blind levels, allowing participants to compete for the OLLI Poker Championship Trophy and other awards as well as enjoying plenty of playing time. Knowledge of Texas Hold-em will be essential for participants. For those of you with some experience playing in tournaments, it will provide an opportunity to improve your play. (Limit 16)
