Bhagavad Gita Yoga
Class | Available (Membership Required)
The Bhagavad Gita (Song of the Lord) is one of the foundational texts of Hinduism. It centers around a fight between two families over control of the kingdom. With heroes and villains, it reads like an ancient action-adventure novel. It can be read as history or philosophy, but it is most often read as a spiritual text. Without a guide it is a challenging read with Sanskrit words and difficult names.
So, join me for this four-part book-club style sharing of amazing work. Through your study you will learn the essential concepts that will improve your understanding of how to read the Gita. In order to get the most from this study, get a copy of the book, read ahead of class, and bring questions. I will be teaching from the Bhagavad Gita by Winthrop Sargeant. (Limit 12)
