Vexillology, the Study of Flags

This presentation will cover the parts of a flag and the heraldic nomenclature concerning flags, the use and history of flags from Roman times to the present, and the design of flags utilizing the North American Vexillological Association’s criteria for discerning good flag designs from bad ones with examples of each from among current and past national flags.
