Ready for a groovy summer? It’s time for peace, love, and ukulele! This course is for students who have completed at least OLLI’s Beginning Fun with the Ukulele or who meet entrance requirements. 

We will use the book “Flower Power for Ukulele: Strum, Sing & Pick Along with 30 Groovy Hits!” (Hal Leonard, available on-line) and expand our ukulele skills while learning to play awesome songs from the 60’s and 70’s such as “Abraham, Martin and John,” “(It’s A) Beautiful Morning,” “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Happy Together,” “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,” “San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair),” and many more!
