Parasites are organisms that depend on a host for their survival, thus causing disease during the process. Methods to combat the spread of parasites have ranged from infrastructure changes to the development of medications and vaccines. Despite these efforts, parasites continue to be a major health problem. Join us in this session, during which we will present stories about how parasites have shaped our society and talk about their clinical impact. (Limit 35)
