Seminar | Registration opens 5/12/2025 9:00 AM CDT
Physical Therapy faculty will explain the structures and motions of spine regions: cervical (neck), thoracic (mid-back), and lumbar (low-back) using spine models and demonstration.
Participants will learn how the spine responds to different positions, postures, and movements. This course offers guided practice and feedback on spine-friendly ways to improve posture and body mechanics for everyday activities such as sleeping, sitting, standing, stretching, lifting. Participants will then identify postures and movements in their own daily routine that can be kind to the spine.
