Ensuring safety both inside and outside of the hospital goes beyond having state-of-the-art facilities and highly skilled doctors. While hospitals and healthcare providers prioritize your safety, a hospital stay still presents some risks to your health or that of your loved ones. This class will educate you about these risks, the measures hospitals are taking, and how you can actively contribute as an additional set of hands, eyes, and ears. We will cover practical strategies, from audio recording important conversations to using safety checklists, to help you be better prepared for your own hospital stay or that of a loved one.
