Did you know that you may forget more than half of what was said during your appointment with a doctor, nurse, or other healthcare team member? Join this session to discover two effective ways to manage the information from these interactions. We will review recent advances in accessing your own medical records, including a demonstration of how to view the doctor’s notes from your visit. Additionally, we will discuss how you can talk to your care team about recording information you might need to hear again. As one patient put it, “It’s like having another person there with you.” Feel free to bring a mobile device or tablet to learn practical ways to “Take the Message and the Medicine Home.” However, a mobile device is not required to attend this session!
