Come and Learn to Paint with Soft Pastel

This class will cover the history of pastel, the different types of soft pastel and the various surfaces to work on.There will be a quick landscape demonstration in pastel during the first class and then students will begin to get to know the feel of working with this forgiving medium by painting something simple. For the following classes please bring a favorite landscape photo to work from. There will be plenty of photos available for those who can't find one. (Limit 20)
