Manual Massage Therapy with Patient Education

Course description: 2-day course 12 CEU

Objective

Learn how to do a full body medical massage and assessment in one hour on every patient. You will learn how and when to incorporate deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point and stretches to every area and extremities of the body to reach optimum results within the patient’s tolerance. You will also learn an effective way to communicate and educate your patient in a way they can understand. This course will help you become a confident massage therapist and open up a standard base of practicing.

• By the end of day two, the student will have an understanding of key muscle groups of the full body, and the role in which they contribute to the patient’s pain levels. 
• The student will learn effective stretches to help ensure belter results for their patient. 
• The student will have an understanding in how to education their patient in self-care and continued care.
