Essential Oils Overview

Course provides basic and comprehensive information about essential oils and using them therapeutically to achieve beneficial results in your practice.  This program provides basic, but important, depth information on essential oils, carrier oils, safety guidelines as well as appropriate applications, blending and expected outcomes.  We will look at 10 essential oils most commonly used in daily practice, plus a practical blending exercise with provided essential oils, carrier oils and applicators as part of this course.

Course will present:

Definition and history of Essential Oils

Carrier oils and their importance

Application methods

Effects and precautions of many common essential oils

Dilution rates and blending

Interviewing and assessment of effectiveness

 Kit includes, 4 essential oils, 3 carrier oils, applicators, labels, inhalers, pipettes, essential oil tool
