First Ladies: Second in Command?
Class Continues: Spring | Registration opens Saturday, August 29, 2026 9:30 AM MDT
What do we know about the 47 First Ladies of the U.S.? Are they simply fashionistas who like to wear big hats, stiletto heels, fancy dresses, and who frequently redecorate the White House? This class will explore the lives and legacies of these important women: their power, politics, courage, strengths, integrity, dedication to Presidents and Country, intelligence, accomplishments, and leadership skills. The course will cover Fall and Spring Semesters, 2026-2027, with the first 24 First Ladies covered in the Fall and the more recent 23 First Ladies covered in the Spring.
