Native American Flute - Beginner

Have you been captivated by the sound of the Native American Flute and always wished you could play it? Well, this is your opportunity! Welcome to the beginner class where you will learn to play this hauntingly beautiful and healing instrument. No music to read - as long as you can breathe and wiggle your fingers, you can learn to play! Participants will be required to provide their own Native flute in the key of A minor, but we do have some flutes to lend for an $80 deposit.
NO CLASS on Oct. 16 for Fall Break.
Rodger Heard
Rodger has been a member of the Zion's Flute Circle for 6 years. He's trained with Rona Yellowrobe, Bob Reese, Carl Rich and many others. He has a great background in the ceremonial origins of the Native American Flute and sees it as a Spiritual instrument in nature. He adds alternate styles of music and accompaniments to the musical diversity of the course.
