Keeping up with AI

Artificial Intelligence technology is impacting our lives at a frightening pace. This course will cover the current development activity as it unfolds. This includes the "how to" use of the leading AI offerings from Google (Gemini) and Microsoft (Co-Pilot aka Chatgtp from OpenAI) and Apple (Siri aka Gemini). In addition to the technology, we will study in-person through philosophical class discussion and videos. Topics include of safety, privacy, consciousness, education, human emotions, healthcare, economy, politics and China/US AI races. Basic smartphone knowledge is required.
NOTE: The first class is Monday, Sept. 21st.
Chuck Goode
Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math & Computer Science, and has experience teaching at NASA Annex, Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX as an Information Software Engineering Director. His career follows Expert systems, Machine learning, and Large Language Models. He has taught and consulted for major corporations such as AT&T, IBM, J Peter Grace, Thiokol Space Division, and Science Applications International Corporation.
