Join us for a fascinating look at Hindu and Buddhist myths plus the rich folklore of South Asia (especially India and Sri Lanka). We'll explore these stories that are rich in symbolism, rooted in deep philosophical traditions, and artistically vibrant.

D.L. Ashliman

D.L. has a B.A., University of Utah and an M.A. and Ph.D., Rutgers University, as well as post-doctoral studies, University of Göttingen and University of Bonn, Germany. He is a Professor Emeritus, University of Pittsburgh and served as a Guest Professor, University of Augsburg, Germany for five semesters. His formal training in photography includes a Certificate in Digital Photography from Cornell University.
