First Aid/CPR 1 - September 25th

Are you prepared to take action in case of an emergency? Learn how in this full-day workshop for Standard First Aid and CPR. This class covers everything and more that is required by The American Heart Association and the Red Cross. Certification is through Utah Emergency Care and Safety. Limited to 12 students.

There is a $10 non-refundable fee for consumables that each student will use, such as lung bags, face shields, AED trainer pads, gloves, and batteries for the manikins.

Since this is a full-day class, please bring a sack lunch and your own water bottle*

*CPR will be taught first, so if you only want CPR training, you can leave at the lunch break.

Keith Farrar

Keith has taught survival and outdoor skills to volunteers and employees of California State Parks and the National Park Service for the past 15 years. He also teaches the skills to the public at "The School of Self-Reliance" in California. Keith has taught First Aid/CPR/AED for The American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and ECSI as well as "Stop the Bleed" programs and the "California Epinephrine Auto Injector Program." He has also taught BLS (CPR for the professional rescuer) through The American Heart Association.
