Native American Flute Club
Annual Club | Registration opens Saturday, August 29, 2026 9:30 AM MDT
Club meets once a month during Spring and Fall semesters, with occasional opportunities to provide entertainment in the local community. Club members will learn new techniques and enjoy a celebration of peaceful Native American traditions and music. Members will be asked to play their own flutes for others in the circle. Bring a flute to show new variants in music and craftsmanship. ICL membership is not required to join this club, but you must register here.
Club meets the first Thursday of each month on 9/3, 10/1, 11/5, 12/3.
Rodger Heard
Rodger has been a member of the Zion's Flute Circle for 6 years. He's trained with Rona Yellowrobe, Bob Reese, Carl Rich and many others. He has a great background in the ceremonial origins of the Native American Flute and sees it as a Spiritual instrument in nature. He adds alternate styles of music and accompaniments to the musical diversity of the course.
