Table Tennis - Novice/Intermediate
Annual Club | Registration opens Saturday, August 29, 2026 9:30 AM MDT
The Table Tennis Club is led by Tom Higbee. Thursdays are especially for ICL members who are novice to intermediate level, but all levels are accepted. Instructors Larry Puskas & Bruce Barkoff will teach proper techniques for effective play. Most of the class time will be spent in doubles play with occasional periods of class instruction to improve skills. Singles play is permissible when a table or two are available for that purpose. Play for fun and improve your game, mental skills, reflexes, and response time. Class is held at the St. George Recreation Center at 285 S 400 E, which is by far the best public facility in the region for table tennis–more space, better lighting, and better tables. Bring your paddle and at least two or three table tennis balls marked with your initials.
You can sign up for this and the Tuesday class, no matter your skill level.
