Spice to Sauce: Simple Indian Cooking
Class - Fall Only | Registration opens Saturday, August 29, 2026 9:30 AM MDT
Join us for a vibrant, hands-on cooking experience inspired by the rich, comforting flavors of Indian cuisine. In this class, you’ll create a balanced meal from scratch featuring soft, warm roti, bright cilantro chutney, and deeply flavorful chicken tikka masala.
We’ll start by demystifying roti— an everyday flatbread made with just a few ingredients— then prepare a fresh, zesty chutney that adds a burst of flavor. Finally, you’ll learn to build a rich, aromatic tikka masala with layered spices and a creamy tomato-based sauce using simple, approachable techniques.
Along the way, we’ll cover essential spices, flavor-building methods, efficient prep tips, and easy adaptations for dietary needs.
Perfect for all skill levels, this class focuses on creating nourishing, satisfying meals you’ll want to make again and again. Come hungry to learn—and ready to cook!
