Sir Winston Spencer Churchill won the 1953 Nobel Prize for Literature "for his mastery of historical and biographical description as well as for brilliant oratory in defending exalted human values.” His most ambitious work was the four-volume A History of the English Speaking Peoples, published between 1956 and 1958. In this class we will fly along with WSC as he takes us from the Birth of Britain through to the beginning of the 20th century.

NO CLASS on Oct. 15 for Fall Break.
