By registering here, you are not guaranteed a spot. This is NOT first-come, first-served. Everyone that registers here will be put on the lottery list until we know how many people are interested in going. If we have more people than seats, we'll hold a lottery when registration closes on Feb 16th. After you register, you'll be contacted by email for your rooming/roommate preferences. Be watching your email after Feb 17th to find out if you are chosen to attend. Payment will be due by cash, check, or cashier's check within five (5) business days of notification. ICL bus tour is back for another trip in 2026! Join us for a 3-day, 2-night bus trip to Capitol Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, with many stops along the way. Our guide will be Diana Hawks. The itinerary includes two National Parks, three State Parks, a stop at the famous Fish Lake Lodge, a Grand Tour at Best Friends Sanctuary and breath-taking views on State Road 12. Bring your lunch for the first day, as well as sturdy hiking shoes, water bottle, and a camera.
Date: May 26-28, 2026
Tour will include:
- Professional, trained archaeologist guide all three days.
- Visit Capitol Reef National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Fremont Indian State Park, Anasazi State Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Escalante National Monument.
- Transportation on deluxe DSU Road Scholar climate-controlled bus with onboard toilet.
- Lodging at the Broken Spur in Torrey, Utah and Ruby’s Inn at Bryce Canyon.
- Dinner at Rim Rock Restaurant on the edge of Capitol Reef.
- Dinner and Show; at Ebenezer’s Barn and Grill Dinner Show with live music.
- Hot breakfast provided at both hotels.
- Hot lunches provided at the Wild West Restaurant in Escalante on Wednesday and Ruby’s Inn buffet on Thursday.
- Grand Tour at Best Friends Sanctuary in beautiful Angel Canyon, north of Kanab.
- Admission to the parks (bring your senior pass).
- Drinks and snacks will be provided.
All registration will be done online through your ICL account. Couples and groups must register individually through their own ICL account. Before registration closes, ICL staff will contact you for your rooming/roommate preferences.
