Favorite Books
Class Continues: Spring | Registration opens Monday, January 5, 2026 9:30 AM MST
For those avid readers who are enthusiastic about gaining others’ insights into many kinds of books including memoirs, historical fiction, biographies, science fiction, mysteries, and so forth. At each class, a discussion of that month's book is led by a member of the class. Come join us in our Favorite Books class!
Here are the books we will be reading:
January - The Girl in his Shadow by Audrey Blake
February - The Briar Club by Kate Quinn
March - The Light between Oceans by M.L. Steadman
April- The Vivaldi Cipher by Gary McAvoy
Summer - The Frozen River by Ariel Lawson
Class meets monthly on Fridays: 1/16, 2/6, 3/6, 4/3.
Kathy McNeil
Kathy McNeil worked in logistics (domestic and international) for Dyno Nobel Inc., a commercial explosives company for over 30 years and is an avid reader. She holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Nancy Kramer
Nancy Kramer has a B.S. in English with a minor in drama from Southern Utah University and has taught English and Drama in the Ogden City, Jordan, and Canyon school districts. She has been a teacher for over 40 years. Nancy has acted in numerous community theaters, including the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Greek Theatre Festival.
