Chemistry in Our Daily Lives
Class: Repeats in Spring | Registration opens Monday, January 5, 2026 9:30 AM MST
Chemistry is a vast physical science, which is sometimes called the “Central Science.” It is the instructor's intention for students to gain an appreciation of how Chemistry greatly impacts our daily lives. Indeed, chemistry lies near the heart of many improvements in our lives. We have increased food production through the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and we have developed plastics, paints and other materials used in almost every facet of our lives.
