Environmental Ethics and Sustainability

Class: Repeats in Spring | Available (Membership Required)

In this 7-week course we will discuss the various different ethical values that exist relative to the environment we live in. We will consider the role these values play in the sustainable use of Earth’s resources. We will examine in some detail what steps we must take to sustain life on this planet for generations to come.

Marshall Topham

Marshall Topham is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast. He holds a B.S. degree in Zoology with minors in Botany and Chemistry and an M.S. in biology from the University of Hawaii, as well as an M.S.in Public Administration from USU. An educator for 40 years, Marshall has served on numerous boards and committees for federal, state, and local entities. He teaches Environmental Science at Utah Tech University.
