American Carnage

Class: Repeats in Spring | Available (Membership Required)

As our world confronts uncertainty and division, we still gain from advances in technology, healthcare, and wealth. Yet, we feel imperiled and challenged: Can democracy withstand the rise of autocracy? Will science overcome misinformation? Can inclusivity endure the force of exclusivity? And will common sense, goodwill, and human decency prevail over fallacy, fraud, and absurdity? This course explores these pressing questions using contemporary sources.

NO CLASS ON NOV. 25th.
