Botany Field Trip #1 - Browse or Lava Point - Sept. 22
Field Trip/Hike | FULL (Membership Required)
Botany expert Lee Hughes will identify plants in the field at various altitudes and ecosystems and discuss their uses by humankind as is known. These full-day trips include light to medium hiking.
Date: Sept. 22nd - Monday
Place: Whipple Trail Pine Valley* Browse or Lava PointTime: 9am-4pm
*Whipple Trail is closed due to the fire, so field trip moved to either Browse or Lava Point.
Bring lunch, water, walking stick, and high clearance vehicle, if you have one (carpooling available).
NO DOGS allowed on hikes, per Utah Tech policy.

Lee Hughes
Lee Hughes holds an AS in Forestry and BS in Range and Fisheries Management. He served for 38 years with the Bureau of Land Management in New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, and Arizona.
