Socrates Café
Class Continues: Spring | Registration opens Friday, January 3, 2025 9:30 AM MST
Are you interested in the big questions, even though you might not find a definitive answer? If so, join other like-minded people in thoughtful and reasonable discourse, each bringing a unique array of perspectives and experiences. Socrates Café is not about argumentation or debate, but rather about exploration and inquiry. The course will utilize a version of the Socratic Method called the Socrates Café Method, in which we challenge our assumptions and beliefs from many vantage points. Topics might be timeless or timely. Please note this is a facilitated course, meaning participants will influence the direction and flow of the meeting; the facilitator will ensure the discourse is thoughtful and well-distributed among participants.
No class on Jan. 20 (MLK Holiday)
