Navigating Income Tax Season
Class: Repeats in Spring | Registration opens Friday, January 3, 2025 9:30 AM MST
Are you overwhelmed when income tax season rolls around? There's a word for fear of taxes - forosophobia - and many of us have it. Let’s face it. Preparing your income tax return can be a daunting task, whether you do it yourself or have someone else do it. How do I prepare for income tax season? Do I have to file a return? What documents do I need to keep? What income has to be reported? What can I deduct? Should I try to do it myself? What if I miss the deadline? Where can I go for help? These are just a few of the questions that are asked. And to make things worse, tax laws change every year. What was deductible last year may not be deductible this year. All questions are welcome as we discuss the basics of income tax and what’s new for 2024.
All of this and more will be covered in this 2-week course held on January 15 and January 22nd.
