Modern Day Interpretations of Eastern Philosophy

Class Continues: Spring | Registration opens Friday, January 3, 2025 9:30 AM MST

In the fall semester, we looked at "The Work of Byron Katie" The Work is simply four questions that when applied to a specific problem, enable us to see what is troubling us in an entirely different light. When we question our stressful thoughts we suffer, when we question our stress thoughts we don't. We reviewed the book "Loving What Is" by Stephen Mitchell.

This semester, we will look at Gabrielle Bernstein's book "Judgment Detox." It is an interactive six-step process that calls on Eastern principles. The times we're living in requires our commitment to love. When we can lead from a place of compassion and forgiveness, we can heal ourselves and the world around us.
