Creative Writing: Your First Novel
Class - Spring Only | Registration opens Friday, January 3, 2025 9:30 AM MST
This is an introductory novel writing course designed for the non-professional writer; the novice writer who has the desire, but not the necessary tools. We will cover the entire spectrum of novel writing, including choosing a topic, the anatomy of a novel, the literary mechanisms of putting it on paper and the challenges and options for in getting it published.
This is a 10-week course.

Warren Stucki
Warren Stucki, MD, graduated from the University of Utah Medical School with Honors in Surgery. After graduation, he interned at the University of Iowa, then completed a 4-year residency at Texas A&M University, culminating in Board Certified. Not only did bring (pioneer) urology to Southern Utah, he practiced in St. George for 37 years. During that time, he served as Chief of Surgery, Chief of Staff and as a member of the Hospital Governing Board at Dixie Regional Medical Center. Also, he has co-authored one research paper, Polycystic Kidneys in Children.
In his spare time, Dr. Stucki pens novels and short stories. To date, he has ten published novels and three short stories. Spring semester, he teaches a novel writing class.
