ICL Striders Walking Club

Annual Club | Available (Membership Required)

The Power Walking Club has been changed to the ICL Striders Walking Club ...walking at your own pace! We invite all who want to walk together (any pace is acceptable) for exercise and enjoy a great community for motivation and laughs.

We are taking a break over the holidays, but will begin our walks again on Monday, January 13th.

Join us for fun-filled and invigorating walking on Monday and Wednesday mornings at the Washington City Community Center at 350 N. Community Center Drive in Washington. Seniors can use the Center for walking on the indoor track for free, you don't need to be a resident!

We won't have formal instruction but will help each other. Bring your own water. Beginners are welcome. Skills are not required; it is just a desire to walk at "your own" brisk pace!

The Club's founder is Wendy King, an experienced power walker and medal winner in the Huntsman Senior Games in three power walking events.
