Grab your sketchbooks and find a comfortable spot to draw! In this workshop, young students will fill their own nature journal full of sketches and observations of live insects in the studio. We will explore the natural world through careful observation and create a visual journal of your experiences. We will build skills that will help us become better naturalists such as observational drawing, note-taking, gesture drawing, and understanding the amazing world of reptiles.


We are teaming up with Scaled Sitting & Services to bring an amazing group of reptiles into the studio. Many of the reptiles are rescue animals that have found a new home here. Their expert handlers will be in class with us to ensure a safe environment for students and the animals.
