Draw Smarter Not Harder: Sight Size and Studio Set up

Are you interested in making better drawings in a shorter period of time? Who isn’t?!? Discover the secret sauce that is sight-size drawing! In this class, we will explore graphite and white chalk on toned paper – one of the most time-efficient combinations of drawing mediums. 

Do you struggle with how to set up your personal space for drawing and painting? We will also go over all the considerations of what our professional studio looks like and how you can do the same things in your own space, no matter how big or small. 

This 3-day intensive has a bit of something for everyone if you ever plan on working from life in a personal studio or are intrigued by mixed media drawings.

Students will leave the class not only with new drawing skills and the drawing as evidence of it, but also a checklist of tips on working from life in your personal studio, including lighting recommendations and physical set-up.
