How to paint skin-tones has been one of the most sought after questions in need of answering by the student of art for as long as representational portrait and figure painting have existed. We will explore how believable skin-tones were created in old master paintings, involving direct and indirect painting methods, then, relate the information to painting skin-tones in modern day with 21st century colors.
In this 4 day webinar there will be a strong emphasis on approaching the painting from very simple and general to specific and particular, this is all in order to successfully make the painting accurate light effect and subtle coloration.
Each 6 hour day will consist of a 6 hour painted demonstration where Eric will answer all of your questions in real time. The whole workshop will be recorded and you will have exclusive access to all 24 hours of it as an instructional video.
By the end you will have the painterly tools to tackle any situation and create a fresh painting with all of the fresh vitality of a new master's work using the lessons of the past.
