Danielle Monzo

Danielle Monzo shares her love of dance, music, and creative expression with Cygnus Creative Arts Centre. A South Jersey native and current professional singer, who currently performs throughout the area as a member of the band Shore Dog, Danielle began dance training at a young age in the styles of ballet, tap and jazz. She went on to study under the direction of Ann Stein-Heemskerk at JazzRock Ballet, adding contemporary and modern dance to her repertoire. Since then, Danielle has continued her dance education and earned university credits at University of Massachusetts Amherst, Stockton University, and Atlantic Cape Community College, as well as studied various forms of world dance including flamenco. In addition to study, Danielle has taught modern, contemporary, ballet, acrobatics, is a certified yoga instructor, meditation, along with choreography and dance improv workshops to students of all ages over the years. Dance performances have been with various groups as well, including The King and I with the Ocean City Pops, performances with the Kinetic Poetic Collective dance company, and performances with independent theatre groups on the East Coast.
Acknowledging the beauty of dedication to creative artforms, Danielle has seen firsthand how the power of dance has the ability to help us move through not only choreography, but through all aspects of life. Her knowledge of building strong foundations bridges creative expression through dance as an artform. In doing so, Danielle brings enjoyable classes and choreography to her students, where they can build self-measurable confidence in their success and feel empowered through dance
