Mr. “JJ” Aponte brings a fresh set of skills and talents to Egg Harbor Township. He is currently finishing his second year as the district’s Kindergarten Theater Educator, where he has introduced the performing arts in a most interactive and playful manner. Mr. Aponte recently graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a Masters in Theater Education and a minor in Dance. After showcasing movement and choreography through the color guard activity for more than half of his life, he found a passion for dance and performance. He has taken various styles of movement classes from instructors across the nation and now is the director of Egg Harbor Township’s High School Color Guard- where he choreographs, designs, and instructs their entire productions. Mr. Aponte’s high energy and charisma deliver a class that is welcoming, and engaging and will leave you excited to learn more!
