“My technique is to help you find your voice”      Rob Gancitano, Mr. G, is a versatile teacher and performer, educated in NYC, and seasoned in most styles and genres. Throughout his career, Rob Gancitano has performed at Carnegie Hall, NYC’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and throughout NYC with such artists as Patti LaBelle, Kristin Chenoweth, Kelli O’Hara, Joanna Gleason, Harvey Fierstein, and the Radio City Rocketttes.  He has appeared on The Joan Rivers Show, and PBS’ Great Performances. Mr. G focuses his instruction on building a love of singing and the benefits it provides to both body and spirit. For younger children, Mr. G teaches the basics of how to read music and interpret a song sheet by focusing on diction and breath control.  For more mature students, and adults of all ages, Mr G offers a student-centered approach to vocal training and performance coaching.  Sessions are uniquely designed to build a strong foundation in vocal technique that will grow with the student for a lifetime of enjoyment, or as a pathway to more formal study.  Musical selections are determined by the instructor, with input from the student, to build particular skills or achieve pre-determined goals.  Recital and performance opportunities are available.  Rob enjoys sharing his experience and talent by teaching all ages, levels of ability and builds a student’s confidence through knowledge and practice.
