Texture and Clay

TD-Class | Registration opens Monday, November 9, 2026 10:00 AM EDT

The plasticity of clay can capture an imprint of an ephemeral object and give it permanence with firing - the veins of a leaf, an embroidered hanky, a carved block. Use unique objects to create personal stamps, rollers and sprig molds to decorate hand built forms. Prereq: Hand Buiding Basics or similar exp.

  • Purchase clay at first class by cash, check, or Venmo - $25 (checks payable to Crealdé School of Art; Venmo code is in Ceramics studio).
