What Makes a Great Photograph

After you’ve figured out the controls of your camera, learn how to make your photography better. Explore the principles of composition, and see examples of what makes a captivating image. Bring your camera (either film or digital) and practice on campus with the instructor guiding you all the way.
John Baker
As a faculty member in the Photography Program, John Baker shares his love and knowledge of film photography in both youth and adult classes, guiding artists young and old in the processes of creating traditional black and white images from capture to print. A consummate exhibitor in and supporter of the Central Florida art scene and recipient of many best-in-show awards, Baker holds two B.A. degrees in Arts and Sciences from the University of Central Florida. He has served at Crealdé School of Art in varying capacities for two decades, and has a studio at FAVO in Orlando.
