Watercolor (Winter Garden)

**Class meets at Jessie Brock Community Center**
Explore the classical world of watercolor and develop a firm grounding in traditional approaches and techniques. Intermediate and advanced students will work independently on personal projects with instructor's guidance.
1) Watercolors are provided for first class and the watercolor supply list for remaining classes will be discussed.
2) Water color paint brushes ( round ) # 1, #6 and # 10 or # 12 prefer red sable or the student's choice
3) 1 Regular pencil # 2
4) prefer 140 lb. Water color paper pad ( small size ) or student's choice
5) a bowl for water
6) rags
Mary Ellen Carrier
Mary Ellen is a lifelong artist who built a successful career as an Advertising Designer, channeling her creativity into visual storytelling. Over the past decade, she has combined her love of travel and photography with a passion for watercolor painting.
A Signature Member of the prestigious National Watercolor Society, Florida Watercolor Society, and Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Mary Ellen is widely recognized for her bright, bold, and contemporary still-life watercolors.
Her work has been featured in numerous juried exhibitions, including Orlando CityArts, the Orlando Science Center, the Center for Health & Wellbeing, and the Mount Dora Center for the Arts. Enthusiastic and deeply passionate about creative expression, Mary Ellen continues to inspire through her vibrant and imaginative watercolor paintings.
