Using Central Florida’s landscape to find and photograph historical treasures and icons, learn about and discover potential captures of the structural environment around us. Residential to commercial, monumental to historic, we will discuss prospective subject matter to ignite your interests before adventuring out for assignments. The class will cover image composition, landmarks for potential interior or exterior captures, and related techniques. The course will include individual assignments and weekend field trips.

John Baker
As a faculty member in the Photography Program, John Baker shares his love and knowledge of film photography in both youth and adult classes, guiding artists young and old in the processes of creating traditional black and white images from capture to print. A consummate exhibitor in and supporter of the Central Florida art scene and recipient of many best-in-show awards, Baker holds two B.A. degrees in Arts and Sciences from the University of Central Florida. He has served at Crealdé School of Art in varying capacities for two decades, and has a studio at FAVO in Orlando.
