Drawing Intensive for Teens (Ages 13-17)

This drawing intensive will challenge students in surprising ways, as they explore a variety of drawing techniques using charcoal and soft pastels. Emphasis will be placed on improving technique, speed, composition, and understanding of anatomy. Each class will present a fresh, challenging still life that may include a model. Repeated sessions are encouraged to expand skills and build a portfolio.

Fabiola Hansen
An experienced and multi-faceted art educator, Fabiola Hansen is a welcomed inspiration to students of all ages that she teaches through Summer ArtCamp, and the outreach programs offered by Crealde School of Art, including the Hands-on-Art Sampler Classes at the Hannibal Square Heritage Center and Easter Seals Day-break Program at the Miller Center in Winter Park. Hansen earned her B.A. in Art Education from the University of Central Florida and has been teaching at Crealde since 1998. Throughout the years, Hansen has continued her own art studies, taking courses in Brazil, Italy and the Museum of Fine Art, Boston. She has exhibited her work in art galleries throughout the United States and Brazil. Locally her work has been exhibited at Casselberry City Hall, Orlando Science Center and Barnett Bank.
