This new intermediate level, 24-contact-hour course will introduce students to some of the classic themes in photography with technical instruction for film and digital, photographic history, and a series of extended field and studio sessions on Saturdays. Topics covered will include street photography, architecture, portrait, and studio. Through presentations on the history of photography, participants will be introduced to the masters in each specific genre. After each work session, the instructor will hold a formal review and discussion of the student’s work. Prerequisite: Photoshop & Lightroom PH258, Black & White Film Photo II PH239 or similar experience. *Class reviews Mondays: June 20, July 11, July 25 & August 1.
