Class Description

Open to any Crealdé member that paints in oils or acrylics. Bring two paintings that you feel are finished but not sure, unfinished but need further guidance or just want to make it better. Attendants listen to critiques of the work of others and maybe gain some insight as to what they may want to consider for their next painting. Be sure to bring paper and pencil to list what might be suggested. It would be beneficial if the students sent photos of their work to be critiqued in an email several days before this class. Complimentary wine, cheese and crackers are served. Class size is limited so reserve your space early.

Tiffany, Barbara

Barbara Tiffany

An artist her entire life, Barbara Tiffany joined the Crealdé faculty in 2012 and has served in multiple capacities. She served as the Painting & Drawing program manager and currently teaches adult classes and workshops. She also served as Crealdé's Curator of Exhibitions for the school’s galleries for six years. After a long commercial art career, she devoted herself to her painting in 1982. Her studies in classical painting were strongly influenced by her mentor, the late Maury Hurt, at the Maitland Art Center, where she was an instructor and maintained a studio for many years.

Crealdé does not accept deposits or partial payments for registrations. Early registration for classes or workshops are encouraged. Students using a gift certificate or account credit are to register in person or over the phone (407-671-1886).

Crealdé's refund and withdraw policies:
In order to maintain the quality of our programs, we have set a minimum number of students for our classes. Therefore, the following policies have been put in place for refunds, transfers, and withdraws.

Classes - A transfer or withdrawal request for a refund, transfer or account credit must be requested 7 days prior to the first day of the session by contacting the main office. Please contact us by telephone at 407-671-1886 or e-mail at lmcbryde@crealde.org during normal business hours. Any requests made 7 days or less before the first day of the session are not eligible for credit or a refund.

Class credits expire after one year.

These policies apply regardless of attendance status.

Workshops - All workshops registration deadlines are at least one week prior to the workshop date*. *Registration deadlines for visiting artists workshops will vary. Please see workshops description for registration deadlines. If withdraw is made prior to registration deadline, student is eligible for a full refund. No refunds or credits will be made after the workshop registration deadline.

ArtCamp is non-refundable upon registration. No refunds or credits will be processed after registration.
