**This workshop meets on location on Saturday, February 19, from 9 am - 3 pm and meets for the Photo review on Tuesday, February 22, from 6 - 7:30 pm via Zoom** Spend a full day of photography with Milton Heiberg, author of seven books on photographic technique and aesthetics. Visit some of Florida's most beautiful rural and untouched wild areas from cattle country to bird refuges, including Snail Kites and a working Bald Eagle nest. Lunch is included on location at available picnic tables (students with special dietary needs can bring their own lunch). Slab-foundation restroom facilities are available. Adventures await as we photograph a stream in the middle of a forgotten oak forest...an experience not to be missed. Only 80 minutes from the Winter Park/Orlando area. Workshop participants will meet at Overstreet Landing at 9 am. Skill level: All

Heiberg, Milton

Beginning with the gift of a Brownie Target camera at age 8, Milton Heiberg has been an avid photographer all of his life.  He moved to Florida in the late 90s after a successful career as a commercial photographer in New York City.  Heiberg is a frequent lecturer on wildlife photography, special effects, and general photography, and has used his photography to advocate for the Florida Scrub Jay and wildlife preservation.  Thousands of his images have been published worldwide.  He is the author of seven books on photographic technique and has been teaching at Crealdé School of Art since 1999.
