The Hasselblad system – designed and manufactured in Sweden and using Zeiss precision lenses – was the workhorse of the fashion industry and the space program. Who can forget Hiro’s revolutionary Vogue covers or the image of the earth rising about the lunar horizon? Sophisticated shooters’ renewed enthusiasm for film photography has revived interest in all things Hasselblad. This class covers the Hasselblad’s range of functions and capabilities, including the lens system and macro capabilities. The class will culminate with a short field session, applying the specific characteristics of the unique Hasselblad system. Skill Level: Intermediate
