After working more than 25 years in social service, Sherry Goode-Carmell opened a home-based sewing and quilting studio and has been teaching all areas of sewing and quilting, as well as being a longarm quilter for more than six years. She has made many dozens of quilts and longarmed even more. Commissions include the Seminole County Centennial Celebration. She was the chairperson for the Geneva Quilt Festival and is a member of many sewing and quilt guilds.
